Review: A compilation of Green Day’s first LP and 3 EP’s from 1989/1990. Much like everyone else, I picked this up way after the fact. This is the orginal release, not the 04 or 07 re-issue.

Review: Green Day’s 2nd indie album before they hit the big time. Includes the original version of Welcome to Paradise, and also one of their first EP’s tacked on to the end, which has a cover of The Who’s My Generation. This is the original Lookout release, not a re-issue.

Review: Filter harkens back to their original Short Bus sound while encompassing everything else they’ve done up to this point. A great return to form after the mediocre Anthems for the Damned. Just as impressive is the packaging, with a pop-up book type artwork contained within.

Review: Time for Annihilation harkens back to the days of split studio/live albums ala ZZ Top’s Fandango, this one having 5 new studio tracks along with 9 live tracks. The new tracks rip, the live tracks sound great, and the package works.

Review: A little EP released after The Wreckage with some acoustic spins on 5 tracks from that album, plus a radically different take on All Night Long. Judging from the pictures on the sleeve, it looks like it literally was recorded in Will’s living room!

Review: The third installment of Alter Bridge is just as good, if not better than the first two. It’s probably the heaviest one also. “Isolation” rips, and the rest of the tracks hit pretty hard too. Good stuff here. Mine’s autographed because I won it through the Carnival of Madness/Crowdstream contest.

Review: The WWE darling’s second album. Decent radio rock with a couple of catchy tunes. I got this one as a freebie for winning the Carnival of Madness check-in “game” online for the Big Flats show.

Review: Theory’s 4th album has hardly any of the heavy rockers that we at least got a couple of on the earlier discs, rather they seem to have fully embraced the he-man woman-hating humor side of things. In other words, if you liked Bad Girlfriend, get ready for a whole album’s worth of that (give or take one or two).
