Review: It’s amazing what happens when an artist just goes into the studio and bangs something out in a week, without overthinking and over-producing the songs. Gavin DeGraw did just that, and this album is a complete 180 from the pop of his self-titled album; this is more in the vein of Chariot Stripped, and with quality musicians behind him, the strength of his voice and the songs themselves shine through. Good stuff.
