Review: This is the album that started it all for me in terms of 36CF “fan-dom”. One of the guys I worked on the Tioga install with gave me a copy of this (and Bitterness The Star, which chronologcially is first) and I played this album damn near constantly for the rest of the summer. I was really captivated by Brock’s somewhat unorthodox vocals, and the songs were just really well done. A great record from start to finish, with not a filler track to be found. Bloodwork stood out to me (I had no idea they’d made it a single until later), and is still my favorite. Needless to say, this album is also my favorite as a whole.
