Review: Soulfly’s been around for six albums now? After the first two, everyone thought each album would be a re-hash of the nu-metal stuff Max started back on Roots. Not so at all. Each consecutive Soulfly album since has progressed a little, but starting with Prophecy, really manifesting itself on Dark Ages, and continuing here, the THRASH is coming back out. Harkening back to classic Sepultura, Max and guitarist Marc Rizzo are bringing the shred back. A real solid metal album, while still holding on to enough of the tribal stuff to make in unmistakably Soulfly.
