Review: The CD portion of this is half covers, and half instrumentals. The covers are of songs that served as Wes Borland’s inspiration to play music in the first place, featuring bands like Duran Duran, Love and Rockets, Iggy Pop and such. There’s even a “cover” of a Big Dumb Face song on here as well (Blood Red Head On Fire). The instrumentals are pieces that didn’t make the cut for Cruel Melody. Also included is a DVD with a documentary of the album and tour, plus extras. Since I pre-ordered online, I also got a shirt with the order.
