11/27/1998 Deftones, Quicksand, Snapcase (Rochester, NY @ Main Street Armory)

Journeyed up the day after Thanksgiving for this one, and subsequently moved into my new dorm room! Anyway, we missed the first song from Snapcase, but after that they were dynamite. Quicksand was okay, and then the Deftones ripped shit up! Opened with BQAD and then My Own Summer, half the crowd went down like dominoes, but everyone was cool and picked everyone back up… They played all the good stuff, including Engine No. 9, where Chino shoved the mic right into my face for the last chorus of the song… yeah, all of Roc-city heard ME yelling… :) Did Weezer’s Say It Aint So and closed with Headup.
