Trucked up to Barrie by myself, I wasnt going to miss this!! None of the bands disappointed… After wandering for awhile, saw EC on the main stage… Trevor dyed his hair bright red and was wearing a Canadian Olympic hockey team jersey, they sounded really good. Ran over to the second stage to catch the Watchmen, MGB and then Creed, who kicked ass again! Shot back to the main stage for Green Day, who were unbelieveably entertaining. They let a kid up on stage, showed him 3 chords, and let him play on one of the songs! Tre destroyed his drum kit at the end of the set… Moist did Tangerine into Jesus Was My Girl… They were amazing. TTP brought Edwin out to cover I’m Afraid Of Americans, that was unreal. I believe they also did Jeff Buckley’s “Last Goodbye” as an interlude in “Save Me”… They were great considering they had also played earlier in the day in Ottawa and flew in… No one near me in the crowd was singing, so I moved up closer, ending up right next to some kid from Niagara Falls of all places!
