I didn’t know Black Lab’s material at the time, and I wish I would have. They certainly held my attention, even though I only recognized Wash It Away and Time Ago. It was the last night of the tour, so OLP did all kinds of disgusting stuff to BL’s gear while they were playing (vasoline, powder on the drums, etc). This was the first time I saw OLP do Jeff Buckely’s “Eternal Life”… only one who knew the words… I was proud of that! Everyone looking around, going “How the hell does he know the words??” :) We had 8th row (then barrier by the end of the night). It was the first time I’d been to Shea’s since I was a little kid. It was also the first time I met a couple of girls (niki and devon) from the Clumsy Congress (OLP’s online forums).
