Review: The Killers decided that they were going to take the success they had with the synth-driven Hot Fuss… and not use it at all. This is a completely different record, which while still poppy, is more rock based. And they pull it off. When I initially downloaded this, I was like, eh, I’m not so sure. But the more I listened to it, the more I liked it, and it really stands on its own, apart from the last one. Good for them. I wonder what they’ll have up their sleeve for the next proper album.
