Review: After Shaun Morgan abruptly ended the touring for Karma and Effect to go into rehab, Seether kind of hung low for the next year and a half, releasing One Cold Night, but otherwise keeping a low profile. They returned in late 2007 with this album, which to my ears sounds better than Karma did. The songs are more interesting, and the two songs that lead off the album, Like Suicide (no relation to the Soundgarden song of the same name) and Fake It are strong and quite catchy. The rest of the album holds up, and aside from the Sympathetic-esque “Rise Above This”, rocks fairy hard. The South African boys are back!
