Review: The first and still classic Hatebreed record. The production is a bit rougher than the discs that follow this, but it is here that the band gained their underground following and laid out their “hardcore meets metal” sound. I’ve actually known about these guys since 1998 when I got two songs from this album (Before Dishonor and Last Breath) off of a tape sampler from the Warped Tour. Even though its a classic, I like the sound of the later albums a bit more.
