Review: Cake returned with Comfort Eagle, which spawned one of their most popular singles, “Short Skirt/Long Jacket”. This is the Cake we’ve come to know and love, with goofy songs such as Long Line of Cars, and underhanded jabs at record labels such as “Commisioning a Symphony in C”. This was also the first album on Columbia for the band.
