Review: Atomship is a band that didn’t receive much of a push, if any, from Wind-Up. It’s unfortunate, because this album is really a sleeper in that regard, as in, it’s much better than the hype that it didn’t get. The sound is dark, almost Tool-esque, but not nearly as epic. The singer has a unique tone, and the lyrical content seems to deal a lot with aliens and sci-fi type issues. I actually got to see this band open for Cold and Sevendust in Rochester awhile back, and their stage show was pretty good as well.
